Readers and lurkers

I have heard interesting stories in the last couple weeks of those who read my blog. So while I'm working on getting better, I would love to read your stories of how you found my blog or some of your story or a topic you would like to see my write about.

  1. I don't have any topic requests, but I found you via a XP on The Nest/The Bump right after the fire. I am inspired by your strength in the face of adversity and am praying for you!

  4. Hi Brooke! We "met" on the PL board, which was definitely a while back, huh?! I am SO excited for you that your house is almost move-in ready! Your house pics from Christmas looked wonderful, so I can imagine how gorgeous it will all be in a few, short weeks. It's the beginning of the end, and it will then become the beginning of the beginning.

Kellen is getting SO big! He is just a precious little guy. Don't you wish you had some of his energy?! I'm sure he warms your heart every day.

You all deserve a time of rest, hope, and joy now. While Kellen brought you the ultimate in joy, you sure have been through the wringer. I wish you all the best!

  5. Hi Brooke - well, you know I met you through Chip, and must have found the blog through all of the fire aftermath talk. I love it. You are inspiring. What is the "Nest, bump" thing? I tried googling it but found nothing.

  6. oh - and I would love for you to make a list of the things you lost in the fire that we might not think of that you aren't necessarly devestated or too sad over - but really bummed. For instance, I have my Disneyland nametag from when I worked there 20 years ago. I would love for you to write about things like that. I sure hope that's not too depressing for you - if so - tell me to fly a kite!! :)

  7. I saw that you had a blog when I read an article and then I saw you were on the nest. I live in Boise and had family that lives by where the fire was.

Congrats on your house almost being done. Kellen is adorable.

  8. I'd like to hear about all the shopping you do. I sometimes think about how I would do things differently, buy differently, if given the chance.

    Miss ya! Gimme a call!
